Each completed request records what it used and its Shard cost. Set personal spending limits to control experimentation.
Not everything is measured in tokens
Chat and embeddings are counted in tokens. Image, speech, transcription, video, search and fetch are counted in what they actually produce — images, characters, requests, videos, searches, fetches — and appear in your statistics the same way chat does. A unit is charged when a rate is configured for it, and recorded either way.
Insufficient balance
Requests stop when the available balance cannot cover usage. Top up before retrying.
